the 4 largest federal revenue producing states, Texas, California, Florida and New York are evenly split between red and blue and fuel the rest of the states based on a large and complex criteria such as population and resources and prove nothing in the lame argument of "whom is dependent on whom".

This OP is probably similar to Harold Ford's comment on Fox News the other day. He said that eight of the ten states with the largest increase in crime had republican governors. He stopped someone from correcting his lie but then continued, "mayors and DAs are failing to do their jobs". Read it out loud, Ford blamed governors but called out the real culprits, democrat mayors and DAs.

So, a red state may get more federal aid but most of it is concentrated in the blue cities inside that state. So, once again, it is liberal policies and not republican policies to blame. Look at Texas. A very red state except for a couple of cities. Kansas, a red state, but a very blue Kansas City and Lawrence cities. Missouri is red except for Kansas City and St. Louis.
