IMHO

He took the 5th because he's smart enough to know that he can't go 5 minutes speaking without lying. He's a serial liar, just can't stop himself. By not answering questions he can simply keep from perjuring himself.

Does anyone know how many times Hillary Clinton pled the 5th when she testified for 11 hours to the likes of Trey Gowdy? I don’t recall the number but surely she wouldn’t have trusted house republicans who had 8 prior Benghazi investigations trying to lay blame for deaths of 6 people at her feet and claiming she had mishandled classified information. I’m sure the number of times is out there.

Did they ever find the number of times Hillary pled the fifth in her testimony? It has to be a lot considering that she was being investigated and questioned by folks out to get her.

Nope, don't remember Hillary taking the fifth, which we all know and now so does Trump, that taking the 5th confirms nothing.


What Hillary did was say "I can't remember, many, many times to favorable people".


What also happened, which I have posted several times, that in his testimony before Congress, James Comey said at least 6 times that Hillary, "was not truthful" in what she said to Congress and the FBI and yet none of that got her prosecuted because Comey decided, which he had no authority to do, that she had no intent to break the law.


So if there is equal justice under the law, at the very least, no matter what is found in the Trump search, they will have to prove intent to commit a crime.

Agreed. They will need to prove it. Of course, holding a smoking gun over an oozing body is pretty good proof of intent.

He can’t open his mouth without incriminating himself.
