Do You Tip Before or After?

For obvious reasons, I never openly ask about services and costs. I do my research, go to a place that has a good rep and pay the house fee and the tip right there but I've gotten some strange looks at first. But honestly, it makes me feel better since there is never negotiating (and I just get L1 anyway) or talking about it or whatever. Just curious what other people do or if you've been burned by tipping to early.

I always tip early with my regulars, as the price has been established. However I negotiate, if needed, with new providers. Never been burned.

I tip after(when flip) unless I’ve seen them before I tip with house fee. Some girl try to take more and don’t make the service great just rushed
