Not much discussion here of the Queen's Jubilee celebration, even from her subjects.

She has always looked vital and healthy but looked pretty old and worn out. Wonder how much time she has left.

Gotta love the royal families.


And Prince Charles has been busy.

Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, the former prime minister of Qatar, gave $ 3 million in shopping bags to Prince Charles in 3 deliveries during private, off-the-books meetings at Clarence House, the prince’s official London residence.

Gotta love the royal families. At least we have Superman and Batman.

Well, she is old as dirt. Not much to celebrate about a damn near 100-year-old woman who smells like mothballs in addition to the shit and piss in her depends. She also probably smells like death already and she is not even dead yet.

I was told this country had what was considered royalty with the Rockefellers and the Kennedys but they were so fucked up that adulation dissipated way before my time so I'll just take my elders' words about whether they were actually considered to be pseudo royalty in this country.

It was a big deal in UK, but only for about 50% of the people. Not everybody is fan of the royal family over there. But it was a good party.

Unfortunately, Boris Johnson and the great unwashed masses outside of London fucked up royally with Brexit and the country is still trying to figure it out.

We still have royals in this country but they have wisely gone underground. Kennedy, Cuomo, Clinton, Rockefeller, etc. Just check out who is married to whom from each family. New people show up, old people die off, and vast wealth can get you into the club. Just like England. This royal house of Windsor is not the same house that was Henry or Elizabeth in the 14th and 15th centuries. Wealthy merchants get a knighthood or peerage. Yep, we have our own royalty. Education is a good indicator. Check our government officials for going to Harvard, Yale, Georgetown, etc.

With the way Kennedy could deliver speeches in public, handle his press conferences, and his style and young family, it really was Camelot for a brief period. At least the perception.

Harry and Meghan didn't fair too well at the Jubilee. They looked like lost souls. Once the Queen is gone, they may become invisible.
