There was an additional reason I slapped on a mask the day before yesterday in the gym. The guy two machines over from me was coughing up a storm. N95 and KN95 masks do provide protection from airborne diseases. This is something you'd realize if you used common sense or read reputable sources instead of wading through 30,000 pages of "confidential" pseudoscience every day.

Despite what people in this forum would tell you, masks on adults didn't really have a down side. And they helped buy time until big pharmaceutical companies and President Trump's Operation Warp Speed brought mRNA vaccines to the public. And until COVID evolved into the less deadly Omicron variant.
