A lot of posters on here trash Trump ... but he made Moderna rich and pulled their asses from the bankruptcy fire with taxpayer funds and government liability protections. They were able to make big bucks with tax breaks and government investments with liability immunity that made it possible for them not to be required to maintain reserves for potential lawsuits and product defect claims from users and professionals.

Nothing to do with common stock.

Note that any company, if it wants its bonds to be publicly tradeable, must file a separate registration for each individual bond series. Some companies have hundreds of these running. This is just a clerical item pertaining to a specific Pfizer bond, no more, no less.

Not entirely sure the immunity is bullet proof. If someone can show malice and/or intentional deception, then immunity is gone. There are some emails coming out that might show that to be the case. Remember, we have only seen a small handful of the Pfizer docs (~9) to date. Many more coming and the current trajectory looks like the "conspiracy theories" are well founded.
