Putin recognized separatist eastern Ukraine today.

The US intelligence and NATO leaders have done a great job of bottling up the usual Russian tactics this time. False flag idea, Russians wearing costumes, inciting riots as a reason to invade...all not working this time.

This announcement by Putin is a response and a move by Russia to counteract that.

an interesting ploy. the separatists declare themselves independent of Ukraine which of course has no legal validity and Putin immediately recognizes it. now he will concoct some bogus pretext to annex these regions and move in to protect "Russian sovereign territory". he's betting that Ukraine won't stop this.


since 2014 Ukraine has vastly increased their military due to Russia annexing Crimea under Barry Obama's watch who sent red cross blankets instead of real military aid. many in this forum continue to claim Trump is Putin's "bitch" even while that false narrative unravels day by day. Obama might not have been Putin's "bitch" (he was) he was certainly Putin's pussy.


Ukraine knows that Putin's goal is to reacquire all of Ukraine. for you students of history Ukraine was never an independent nation. the region has been occupied by various entities from the Ottoman Empire to Czarist Russia. in fact at the same time of the Civil War the Ottoman Empire and Czarist Russia were at war over the Ukrainian territory. Czarist Russia won. that's how Russia came to control Ukraine.


when the Soviet Union fell Ukraine like others broke away due to decades of cruel rule by Stalin. even in 1991 they hadn't forgotten how they suffered under Stalin.


Putin is betting in 2022 Ukraine won't oppose him when he annexes the two eastern regions of Ukraine. if he's wrong he'll be looking at a far stronger response than 2014 when he had both a pussy US president and a puppet Ukraine president.
