FYI, Just so you people know that if someone wants to do FaceTime, the other person can record the video & audio without you knowing.

So in other words....if anyone wants to do a face time verification...be very careful the words you use and if anybody starts to 'offer' services, you' better be reeeelly careful with what you say...

I don’t understand why some providers insist on doing FaceTime, and don’t really care for references. I personally feel that discretion goes out of the window as soon as you initiate a video call.
Funny thing is LE more likely to do FaceTime as compared to your average John.

I had one provider, that I discussed this with, tell me that she will ask for facetime a few minutes before our appointment to see, not so much me, but the vehicle that i'm in as well as my surroundings...she told me, for instance, saw that I was in a 'normal' truck (she asked me to 'scan' the interior), and felt this was a good way to avoid LE. When asked about FT, she told me she believes that if a person won't share their current surroundings with her...she felt that it could very well be LE on the way over. Agree or disagree, I can see valid points on both sides.

All I can say is after reading this, FT is NOT gonna happen for me.

Many years ago, I remember a there was a web site that collected client's phone numbers and posted them on the internet. It was their attempt to stop human trafficking. Now what would stop them from doing the same but this time with a phone number and a photo or a video of clients? I understand & respect a provider's view & their need to feel safe. I know the anxiety I have before I enter the room of a provider that I have never seen before. So I get it. Unfortunately technology shows no bias when it comes to who uses it and to what their real purpose is. Stay Safe.
