Please re-read what I mentioned about the questions themselves inserting Bias from my prior post. I think anytime that you see it's generic, is that you know it's correct and that it's got you putting a question in your mind as to the "what" is it that is creating bias? Hence my suggesting you not having much experience with that. As mentioned, the questions are all suggesting an outcome of sorts.

All the the questions are about feelings and opinions vs. facts.

All the more inflammatory based ones- insert a question about perceived laws that are nefarious, NOT in place, and suggest loss of rights, privileges', or an action not yet even in the realm of reality.

All the questions were supposedly asked to a group of DEMSs, (and who can confirm or deny this) (or can it be suggested that the nature of the questions and the assertions by conclusions available are it itself the design of outcome or results) all done by company that is known to be right-leaning and questionable in it's approach and conclusions.

As far as how people feel about Fauci- does it really matter? Does feelings negate the fact that Covid is here, and still killing people despite the politics and what people think about masks or vaccination? There is no perfect understanding of the virus, as it changes (mutates) and while I'm not a virologist, it do give a wide birth to those who have studied this, and are not on a fringe element. To that, I think there are many opinions, but again, not independent facts. The facts or outcomes are that if you've had Covid, it's not fun. I would suggest that it's not done with us, and while there may be some amusement in pointing out where people got things wrong vs. right, the facts dont' lie that it's still dangerous. I know 3 people personally who died from Covid this week. Ages 40-60.

How I feel about Fauci doesn't change the reality of Covid transmission or deaths; both are real and are still happening. Did you want me to address anything else Berry??


Oh btw- I got some points for being rude, so I apologize for anything that put a sting on any of your behinds. I would not want to do that since the comments towards me are always so pleasant. That said, I'll try to do better.

Well you really didn't point out any specifics but that's ok. You did say this

Ummm, that is what polls do. They ask people's opinions or how they feel about certain subjects. When pollsters ask favorability / unfavourability of a political candidate, they are soliciting people's opinions - not facts.

Same here - when this poll asked

they were soliciting people's opinions in the most unbiased way possible. The questions insert no bias whatsoever - if they did you surely could point it out. Each question gave the individual asked 4 options to respond:

strongly favor
somewhat favor
somewhat oppose
strongly oppose

Can't get more unbiased than that

Again - the questions posed no bias. The people were asked if they "strongly favor, somewhat favor, somewhat oppose or strongly oppose a proposal . . . ". If the people that were asked thought the proposed law was nefarious or an action not in the realm of possibility, they would have simply answered they somewhat oppose or strongly oppose this. Yet many Dems did not and instead supported the proposals.

And you falsely say this ideas are not in the realm of reality - yet all of these thoughts have been voiced publicly by various individuals, whether they be politicians, media members, celebrities, etc. So someone would like them to happen. And judging by the poll results, lots of Dems support these proposals happening - specifically:

Democratic voters in a recently poll:

-59% support house arrest
-48% support prison for questioning vax efficacy on social media
-45% support internment camps
-47% support surveillance
-29% support the state taking their kids

I'd be interested how the answers were spread. Somewhat support is very different than strongly support. How much of that is slight lean because the answer is "I don't really care, but have to pick one"

I wonder how many fell into the 2 Somewhat vs the 2 Strongly.

That tells more of a story about the pulse of this particular sample group IMO vs just the up/down.

The "internment camp" one reminds me of the Jimmy Kimmel skit where we went out to find people who were against women's suffrage.

If it was framed as interment camp in the question, I wonder how that would have impacted the data. Same would apply to using the term concentration camp.

Again...while I do get your point about an opinion....many times they are analogous to opinions and hemorrhoids, the answer is sooner or later every asshole has one. But specifically the ruse of the questions posed are what makes me say it's nonsense. Once they introduce the idea of internments or taking away children you knew that was a bullshit poll. I'm not sure why you don't understand what the word leading means, but it means to propagate an answer by the question itself. As to the results of the supposed Poll, my skepticism grows even more, as I would never answer somebody asking questions this stupid by phone. I'd hang up and block them

But they did not randomly come up with the idea of internments and removing children - these have been ideas mentioned in some form or fashion by either politicians, media, etc. Shoot you just have to look to Australia where they have had Covid Internment Camps

And just because you would not answer the questions does not mean no one would. Lots of people are willing to participate in polls
