I got five points for saying in a crude way that the Roonies are beholden to black players, and never did receive a reply about what other term than "black" should be used to describe players that are not white, or some other race other than black.

I was under the assumption that this was the place to let it all hang out and speak the truth, whether the other party LIKES your version of the truth on not, and now you want us to somehow take the blame for posting things you don't like?

Devo... board culture. The mutual environment in which we communicate and interact with each other and providers.

The Whiskey, Bourbon and Scotch thread is quite civil. Still young so time to devolve. DG and Bam have been posting in the same thread with no bickering. We're finding unusual common ground.

I'm just as interested in what a provider's thoughts are on whiskeys as in what yours might be. I'm open to finding spots of consensus where they exist. Seeing differences in tastes and preferences without the bickering when battle lines get drawn. I may get tired of which mashbill is best in 2 or 3 years, but we have to have some other fucking interests than just smacking our heads against a wall on politics that no one wants to move an inch on.

We can find consensus, or at least find a bit of common ground in so many ways that doesn't have to involve politics in 80% of the goddamn threads. I know I'm not alone in thinking that even if I'm the vocal minority among those remaining here.

You have nothing to do with “board culture”. Nothing. So quit pretending and stop bumping your own thread. I have a Muscle Car thread that is far more interesting and important. So quit being a hypocrite and let other threads survive.

Consensus isn't morality. It's not uniformity. It's not lack of all conflict. It's just general agreement of the majority in the context I'm using it.

Right now, that consensus for the vocal is that the board isn't too political based on you, chizzy, Salty, Devo, Bam and Amish among the locals. And yet, that's not unexpected because you are the usual crowd here, lately.
