I thought it was thunder. Scary stuff to think about what is, effectively, an airburst bomb going off with no way to tell when, where, or if it will even hit and do damage. At least if another country launches nukes we'll have some kind of heads up.
Unless the warning is Fake News I guess...

I think the chances of you getting injured from a meteor is much, much lower than getting hit by lightning.. but hey, if you get hit, go play the lottery

Well, there are so many satellites up there you would think one would spot it coming. Not that one could do anything about it. At least say “DUCK”!!!!!

Fuck every one of those satellites for being too hung over from New Years celebrations to do their jobs and warn us about the meteors. Lazy, drunken pricks.

The way things are going, blowing things up might not be a bad idea. Hope the next meteor hits DC.

Maybe, but nothing bad specifically happened.
Though, Betty White died at 99 on the 31st... I suppose the big guy upstairs didn't want to start 2022 off poorly... but ended 2021 bad

Heard something, just thought it was left over fireworks or somebody taking a shot at something(common where I live).

Apparently not. It seems their whole identities are politics. Sad.
