Epstein's "preferences" were a deep, dark secret to many but probably an open secret with people who have been his victim. I'm assuming that he blackmailed those who he brought into his world. I knew a guy in the navy like that. He was into all sorts of stuff, but we didn't know the half of it until he got busted for something minor and unrelated. With him being restricted to the ship everything fell apart. Suddenly everyone knew too much. A lot of people got burned because of him because he pulled them in and got something on each of them.
