With all the constant far right bombardment of posts by primarily 2 people in this forum(I understand there are 2-3 others but we all see the same 2 constantly), does it make you more or less likely to see their point of view.
Me…there are times I agree with them but I find the constant non-stop posts do the opposite of what they intend.
What day you?

... Great Question.

I'm surely MORE likely to support their thread posts
when I also BELIEVE in what they are saying.
Prolly 'cause I happen to be a conservative fellow.

... But sometimes the liberals are correct on things.

... However, too much name-calling and direct insults
to suit me 'round here.

... just sayin'

Interesting, the furthest right posters I know on here are pretty moderate at worst.

Yep, the popular reference is libtard. I happen to be a moderate Republican, so here I would be labeled a RINO.
I can’t have a discussion with people who think nothing but party line thinking. Everything has to be a “win” for the party. Every discussion. And the more I get preached to the more I pull the other way.

Then you don’t know any true hardcore Righties.

The hardcore lefties are on TV a lot these days and are easy to spot, they are the communists and socialists who arent afraid to tell you or anyone else that.

The hardcore Righties are far more Right than you may realize.

To give you a real world current example the Clintons are pretty far left of center, yet they are thought of by many as moderate, because the media paints them that way. If you feel that say 30% of your views align with the Clintons you are left of true center.George HW Bush was a moderate Republican, how do your views align with his?.

Fantastic question and I'd like to throw in my libtard 2 cents.

First, it has mostly alienated me from checking the Sandbox, but when I do, I typically ignore posts that are started by the 2-5, unless the heading is intriguing enough. I simply don't have the time or patience to read dozens of links and opinions. Occasionally I'll get a wild hair and will poke the beast for amusement purposes only, but for the most part, I ignore this forum.

That said, I cannot see their point of view because, to me, it's just plain and simply wrong. I don't care how much "proof" they post - and they don't care how much "proof" I post either. The truth of the matter is, either they are wrong or I am wrong, but there is nothing that will change either of our beliefs so why even try?
Every trumper that I've ever met is incorrigible and emphatic about Trumpism, and there is absolutely nothing that will make them see my point of view or change their mind even slightly, so it's useless to even try. For every opinion or view posted (left or right), there's some knucklehead with a webcam and a YouTube channel or a URL that refutes the opinion. It's exhausting.

What really irks me is, even though I thought GWB was a complete fucking idiot, I would have NEVER chanted "FUCK GEORGE W BUSH" at a sporting event or hung a flag on my house or bumper sticker on my car in attempt to belittle one of the most powerful people on earth. Even my disdain for OFD didn't cause me to scream it in the streets or buy a flag or bumper sticker. It's childish at best.

I call myself a moderate GOP because I tend to vote Republican. While I’m 100% fiscal Republican and hate what liberals have done with things like reactions to George Floyd, I am pro choice and believe more money needs to go to underprivileged school districts. I also 100% agree with the Rittenhouse verdict. Those are just examples…not to start a debate.
I enjoy discussing politics, and would probably read more of the posts here if it wasn’t constantly the same 2 guys with the same point of view. Not sure what their end game is, but if it’s to sway people to their point of view it’s having the opposite affect.

Fiscally I'm 100% conservative. In social issues I'm probably center. But there are alot of things I say the government should keep their noses out of.

I’m surprised to hear you are center in social issues. Why don’t you post some of that?
I guess that’s part of my point…everything here is constant, very conservative views. Be healthy here for both sides to have a little balance. For one thing a larger group of people would actually read it. Lol
I think…but what do I know.

Well, with your caustic, pompous, self righteous posts, you don’t seem up for debate. It’s been illustrated many times. Like your Jihad to be vaccinated. You never provide any receipts, just your opinions. They are what they are.

Hmmmm. Funny how some people see sharing of facts and current events troubling if they don't fit their viewpoint. And how they magically believe they know what people intend when they share information.

In today's world, the mainstream media is corrupt and mainly very left wing biased. And many people do not keep up with the news. So, not speaking for anyone else, but I share information to help educate others. If it helps them reconsider their viewpoint, fine. If it doesn't, that is fine too. But educating others, even if just on a hooker board, about current events and real facts is important. It helps keep people current and helps battle the misinformation put out there by the mainstream media and shared by low information folks.

It is also why when I make a post with facts, or information you are not hearing in the mainstream media, I include a link to the source so everyone can read and assess it for themselves.

Sharing information on current events is no different than sharing it on various hoodrats or AMPS. Not everyone will agree but everyone will be more educated

Maybe you are just mixing two terms up that while used together often are not the same thing. Republican and Conservative.

How a person votes is usually aligned with their own priorities. Like Chizzy I have very moderate social views while being 100% fiscal conservative. I vote Republican because the fiscal issues are more important to me than the social issues, but I am not a Republican.

For me there is no end game in a political forum on a hooker board…but I like to piss off libtards

You say you’re “educating” people. I believe you think you are but you’re really not. When its a constant wave of the same thinking, people you are trying to “educate” are long gone. They want nothing to do with the echo chamber. And just because you have a link, doesn’t make it true. I trust no media 100%, and definitely will never trust a link on a hooker board.
