They have not said when OR IF restaurants will again be allowed to serve alcohol.

They have not said when OR IF nightclubs will be allowed to reopen.

The new system, to simplify the hoops, in fact does NOT work yet, and there is no way to know when OR IF it will be fixed.

And the proclamations from the government change on a daily basis. And even when the Prime Minister says "Such-and-such will happen on or before this day", someone else promptly says "OVER MY DEAD BODY!" and, somehow, it sticks.

He is annoying ! :-). I used to live on on Sukh Soi 24 and have done that walk to Siam 200 X's. Talking to friends in CM, where I'm heading after that one night quarantine, alcohol is being served in paper and coffee cups in the bars/restaurants on the DL. I'm to old for the nightclubs and the late night stuff so a few closures doesn't bother me. I did look up Lolita's on Soi 8. Seems they are open :-)

If I can get the damn Thai Pass in time for my Dec 2nd flight, I'll be a happy man. But the Thai govt really fucked up this time around. I heard things are worse now than they were with the COE and the COE was bad.

Well...The Thai government changed the rules again and no alcohol can be served in bars & restaurants till at least Jan 15, 2022. Puts a real damper on Xmas and NYrs for lot of folks. Foreigners and Thais.

I would not plan a trip any time soon, with the way they keep changing the rules. Not sure when or if it will ever calm down enough and have enough certainty to be able to make the trip. It was on my bucket list.......
