Oh GasMonkey I was just itching for his arrival so he can share his eons of advice from all his encounters. Don't keep me waiting Lex Luber!
(I'm half tempted to say told ya' so. I predicted this before and debated that it's much ado about nothing for AMPs. I'd bet most AMPs are paying off LE already or LE doesn't care about going through a lot of time and expense necessary to bust Johns. To do so and gather the proof needed they need to setup a fake storefront and record actions, which is how they successfully prosecute but that's damn expensive.)

I still remember when they reopen seven stars. Many people "commented" how it was ok like before.

Me too. I remember they ended up with like 30-50 busts of Johns and of course, all the ladies.
But to me this can be a good thing, I know it will melt some of your minds:
In a contrarian point of view (go with me for a minute) I think that was the last of it from LE for a while b/c the cost of the operation vs. what LE got was a poor ROI. Like investments, even LE probably wants a great ROI in terms of # of busts or fines (LE guys on the board, feel free to chime in for what's most important here ) but that was a couple of years ago and there's not another instance of a fake AMP storefront being setup. The last one I know of was in Jupiter FL and busted a certain Pats owner, and even that didn't stick due to great lawyers. So maybe the 7* bust was a great thing for AMPs today?!
I just miss some good memories there. IDK if I reviewed but I did have 2-3 of my top 10 AMP experiences there. So maybe that history is good for us today is all I'm getting at.

I went with you for a minute - just keep in mind our government, and that includes PD, is not rational. They also have unlimited funds from taxpayers. Same people that decided street prostitution, consensual sex (if paid) - is worthy of a felony. They have been fighting the "war on drugs" since the 80s with terrible ROI and now they have made up a fake "sex trafficking" war to "help the victims." Being rational is not part of the equation. If it was - Houstons murder rate would be much lower as LEO would be targeting real crime and consensual sex would still be legal.

Strong points mudd, I guess time will see. Agreed that there is an unlimited fund for the 'war on drugs' and for the 'human trafficking' wars.
I don't think it's all LE that keeps up these sagas of human trafficking and I think it's 50% from the PC groups, busy-body moms that want everything tainted with 'toxic masculinity' gone and they're seeking some perfect, inclusive, non-threatening world.

I agree 100% - PC groups, the media, government, LEO...anyone who stands to profit or assist those who can. If they REALLY cared about trafficking they would legalize sex work, befriend the workers, and easily root out the criminal elements. if you ask any sex worker who they fear - its always the police and none are requesting more police presence. very rarely is it the mongers.

I just rarely come to this board. Spend most of my time on an AMP board on Reddit, where I post under the same username.

I'll preface this post with the same thing I always do. When trafficking occurs the people doing it should be strung up by their heels and caned...or worse.
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/is-op...king_b_8307634
In addition to the above article, which admittedly is several years old now, shining light on the problem with how sex workers are treated, including those who are truly trafficked, a small number IMHO, there is money to be made in "protecting" these sex workers.
I've posted several times on these boards about this. Look up how many "non-profits" there are dedicated to sex trafficking. Then take a look at their required financial disclosures, assets, payroll, executive payroll etc.
While I'm sure some of them have good intentions they seem to spend quite a bit of their time telling us how bad the problem is and they rush to the cameras when there is a bust to get the free publicity AND contributions but the number of trafficked sex workers they actually claim to have helped is far less than what their grandstanding would lead you to believe. You would think it was in the thousands. It's more like the tens over several years for some of them. As with most things that don't quite seem right on the surface you can usually get to some sort of truth by following the money.

Not to mention all the money to be made with court costs, lawyers, and filling the jails. All while hiding behind a sex trafficking cause.

Low hanging fruit; visible to the public and an easy bust to make.
AMPs would be a next step up in complexity. Watch out for LWE to open their own AMP or take one over, then bust the men.
Similar kind of sting at a SC, with the waitress being an LEO.
