Default college football conference realignment

College football continues to realign itself. I don't follow big time college sports, but I don't
remember conferences realigning frequently in past years.

Texas and Oklahoma going to SEC.
BYU, Houston, Central Florida, Cincinnati to Big 12.

Is it all amount the money in the streaming tv age ? And what about Covid 19 now that stadiums are allowing patrons ? If we see outbreaks, will the stadiums be shut down again ?

Agreed... this is NOT the place for political crap.

Hmmmm... To answer yer question, mate - I've noticed
that the SEC, with Alabama and Georgia and what-not
seems to year after year have the most powerful
football... And either Oklahoma or maybe Texas
surely rule the "12" confrence. So it might
stand to reason that Texas and Oklahoma would
want to join onto the place with the BEST football
battles.

When I was a footballer, I always wanted to play
against the BEST sides - because I might sometime
break me leg and end me career - and THAT would
be it. So, I wanted to play against the best
while I was able.

And of course maybe the SEC matches pay-out
more money $$$ to the universitys. THAT is prolly
the greatest factour.

Just sayin'
