Have to take into account the risk of hunting it all down and taking it out of country. Trumptards would sure as shit blame biden for someone getting killed rescuing a Humvee or other equipment. That 10 billion is a high estimate, some say 7 billion, and that is all sticker value when produced. Like a humvee decked out costs like 220,000us. What is it worth now? Worth risking lives to go get? All the guns and ammo, how the fuck do you confiscate all of that? Going to go knock on doors like Jehovah witnesses and ask for guns back?
As for being an ass backwards withdrawal, this was Trumps surrender and trumps plan. It was delayed by 4 months is all. It would have been worse if we stuck to the May 1 timeline. In May, 60 plane loads of equipment were hauled out. Those are big planes and hold lots of stuff. Other flight capable hardware was flown out to other countries.
