Ladies asking you to be quiet?

Saw one my oldies but goodies the other day, and as I was leaving she asked me to not say anything about her online - she “didn’t want to get in trouble”. I suspect it has something to do with the new law, but surprised me since this lady has been seen by many other mongers in this city and has more mileage on her than a long-haul rig. Not to mention she’s been reviewed/ mentioned plenty of times on these boards over the years.

Anyway, still surprised me. Any of you guys notice an increase in worry or concern from the ladies you see, or have been asked to not say anything? I know many don’t want to bring any unwanted attention to them and want to remain UTR, but wondering about those that have been well-reviewed over the years and are now wanting to remain anonymous.

Yes. It's happening. Not a great time to review and bring the heat on some of the amps.

The provider you describe is the type put at risk the most by reviews and other chatter.

I think we would hear this more except many providers are not that proficient at reading English.

I imagine providers are concerned that customer traffic may slack off due to felony charge for visitors more so than a provider getting pinched, seems things didn't change much for them or are still at same risk.

The change in Texas law will direct LE efforts to low hanging fruit. They will pick off what is easy and can be seen by the public. Leveraging Johns against the providers will be the pathway.

There is an active effort to suppress the 59 to Bwy-8 track along Bissonnette. Look for a sting operastion out there.

AMP sites are stationary and open right by other businesses. Also an easy target.

Those are the easy scenarios in my opinion.

I also look for LE stings at Strip Clubs where the waitress is an LEO . . . or even one of the dancers (less likely but possible). . . . .ask for extras or OTC and get busted.

Another Hobby scene amenable to stings on Johns will be Sugar Daddy/Sugar Babby sites. The quid-pro-quo may be harder to document if the SD is careful, but watch for it anyway.

Going after an Indy Provider will be more difficult and less visible.

Agreed ICU with one exception in my opinion-I believe AMPs in Chinatown will remain unchanged. Neighboring businesses are well aware of what happens and don't complain. Look at Bellaire-there's a local precinct off Bellaire and there's no more/less busts.

I haven't ventured out lately for a separate reason but I've been asked, years ago and multiple occasions, not to review well known ladies. As she put it with a typing hand movement 'no talking on the Internet'. I honored her request and I'd suggest the same and not get greedy for reviews.

They customarily get one of the "linguists" on here to translate ... especially if they can't read the reviews.

FYI: Some of the "translations" are flawed, if not downright fabrications.

You are right, translating text is simple. Getting on a search engine and choosing the right search terms in a language you don't read, interpreting the results, navigating the sections of a hookerboard to find a review relevant to her is quite another. Chances are someone helped her with all the initial stuff. Of course if she is younger and more tech savvy this would be less of a problem. We are in Houston though, not a lot of younger.

Well, we have to do one review every 6 months, at least, to keep our premium status here. Somebody's gonna have to take the heat to keep me reading the ROS's, lol.
