Actually card counting itself is a lot easier than people make it out to be, the problem isn't counting the cards and knowing when the deck is "loaded" and it's time to make your big bets. The problem is that that "eye in the sky" knows how to count cards too and it's almost impossible to make any real money counting cards without getting tossed out before you have made your first thousand bucks.
A good friend of mine who lives in Las Vegas used to go out after work once or twice a week, and he and his friends, who were all professional traders, would count cards. He was banned from 5 casinos and his boss was banned from about 12. I believe they were fairly conservative, and wouldn't raise their bets by over 5X when the deck was in their favor.
With better technology have they gotten more sophisticated about tracking card counting than they used to be? Also I wonder whether the Casinos have gotten together and created some kind of a black list, so that if you're banned from one you're banned from them all.
Biden is an attorney by trade. Didn't he go to Syracuse Law School? He like Trump will not get into the science behind the vaccines. You should be happy that Biden did not suggest that Covid patients be injected with a disinfectant like the Trumpster did.
Well that is a matter of debate. I think most people would say that Biden is a politician by trade, not exactly something to brag about IMHO, but yes he did go to Syracuse Law School and gradutated 76th in a class of 85 but graduate he did, even after getting caught plagiarizing on one of the papers he turned in. I guess once a liar, always a liar.[/QUOTE]
The point was Biden was an attorney before he became a senator. Yes, he was in the senate for a longer period of time than he was practicing law.
The booster is the same vaccine administered again.
What adav is talking about is an entirely new vaccine to target variants. That's not what a booster is.
The booster is needed because the vaccine effectiveness only lasts a few months, and then you need another dose of the same vaccine.
In theory we are both correct. According to this link there are different types of boosters. A homologous booster uses the same vaccine (like the measles booster) while a heterologous booster uses a different vaccine from the one used in the first shot (Moderna, Pfizer vaccines).
this fucker was saying the covid booster shots are the same vaccine given again, as it currently is.
At about the 3 minute mark the CEO of Pfizer said they would look at both the same version or a modified version of the vaccine for a single dose annual booster like the flu. It hasn't been determined yet what the booster will be.
Yea he said a lot of shit. In it's entirety, he basically said the boosters, as they stand now, are the same vaccine being administered again and that they will look into modifying the current vaccine for variants.
1.Made an excellent point about the 500 million doses of Regeneron being mostly unused. I thought you had to be connected to get it because it in was in short supply. Trump and Gov Abbott got it real quick. Dr McCullough mentioned both cases. According to him it's sitting on the shelf not being used. Anyone who got infected with CoVid should have been put on Regeneron just like Trump. We would not have had the 600,000 deaths.
2. The Vaccines aren't working against the delta variant(spike protein structure changed too much on mutation). If you get infected with the delta variant do like he says as your doctor for the Regeneron.
3. I agree with him 100 percent there should be early treatment at home. Regeneron, Remdisivir, HCQ, Ivermectin, full aspirin for the clots, if you have high platelets count.
4. It appears the gov did hide the risk with taking the vaccines especially the Moderna one. I am glad I didn't take that one. The Pfizer one was the only one available at Fair park in Dallas in May when I got the vaccine.
5. You don't need the vaccine if you have natural immunity.
6. The one thing he did not seem to address is right now most of the people in hospitals and on ventilators because of CoVid are unvaccinated people. Plus 99% of the deaths from CoVid are from unvaccinated people.
7. If you have a hookup and it's inside make sure it is less than three hours long. Will avoid overnights for a while.
JUST IN: Corona not likely cause of death in 80 percent of official covid deaths reported in Germany since early July, according to Prof. Dr. Bertram Häussler, head of the independent health research institute IGES in Berlin (WELT)
The graph about halfway through the article comparing deaths per million through time for the UK, the USA, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi is enlightening.
Excerpts,
For weeks into early August, the delta surge in the U.K. lulled some Americans into a sense of complacency. Across the Atlantic, cases soared but killed relatively few people, and in theory, the mutated virus would act similarly in the U.S. But delta exposed a key difference: The U.S. has fallen far short of the U.K. in vaccinating the oldest members of the community, who remain most at risk of hospitalization and death.
That largely explains the U.S.’s failure: About 18% of Americans 65-and-over still aren’t fully vaccinated, versus about 5% in the U.K. “That’s a huge difference,” said Jeffrey Morris, a professor of biostatistics at the University of Pennsylvania. “When you have four times as high a proportion that are unvaccinated, that’s going to cause a lot more death right there.”
The U.S. has already posted twice as many deaths per capita since early June as the U.K., even though its surge started later. In Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana, the tolls are 4-6 times as high -- exacerbated by populations that tend to be older or have more pre-existing conditions.
In the end, only Vermont, Connecticut and Maine are anywhere close to the 95% vaccination threshold for the people with the most dire need for inoculation.
....Delta’s arrival coincided with the height of the U.S. mask wars....Disputes over masks rage even after a massive new study of more than 340,000 people provided perhaps the best evidence yet of their life-saving properties -- rebuffing detractors who said the science just wasn’t sound enough.
The study conducted interventions in communities in Bangladesh, and managed to increase mask wearing by 29 percentage points compared with the project’s control group. The increased masking coincided with a 12% reduction in Covid-like symptoms, and the benefits were much greater still among the oldest and most vulnerable participants.
Overwhelmed Morgues Belie U.S. Illusion of a Defanged Pandemic...blah blah blah...blithering total bullshit
Go look at that article and do a search on the word morgue. OTHER THAN THE HEADLINE, not a SINGLE FCUKING HIT. Not one ounce of even anecdotal evidence to say that MORGUES ARE OVERWHELMED.
It's a straight up hit job on De Santis because he's likely heir to the Trump supporters...
