If they enforce the law, then more people will drop off hobbying. If they don't, it will be business as usual.
I am guessing they will do a few more stings to show the community that they are doing their job, to keep the community safe, so people with daughters will feel safer. Once it's no longer news worthy, things will be back to normal.


It's not easy to predict what can happen. Who knew the housing market will go so crazy across the nation during a pandemic. At least i didn't know it will happen. All we can do is to sit back and see what will happen in a few days. In the meantime, party on.

Since I started this thread, the Supreme Court ruled the no-evictions mandate is not legal (thus, Landlords can now evict non-rent payers), The FED said ''we got this'' (no persistent inflation), and Hurricane Ida is about to send thousands of Whores and potential Whores, to the Metroplex. Prices should be falling soon!

Listcrawler is getting fucked up again, though. A sudden flurry of Male ads, guys offering themselves up free to women. And more obvious fake ads. I think Listcrawler's algorithm allows bad actors to fuck with it for a couple of weeks, until management catches on and makes changes.

I got really bored one day and read the 2020 report from the anti-trafficking task force that they based the new felony law on. One funny observation is that they do a blanket count of escort ads to gauge how much sex work activity is going on. So all those fake ads are not all for not. The fake ads help drive the new anti-trafficking legislation given the perception that even during the height of covid sexual transactions were steady or even increasing.

This new law is going to put lots of women out of work, and probably cause ECCIE, AdultSearch, Eros and OurHouse to shut down. In fact, I am surprised they are still operating. Arguably, it can be used to go after customers in strip clubs who pay for lap dances. So its either go to another state or settle for Internet porn.
