First time to Dallas

Hi all. I’m Jilly and I have evacuated for the hurricane. I should have left the day before, but 20/20’s hindsight. I’m heading across Texas like a vagabond and I was wondering what area is a safe place to stay in Dallas.

If you just need a place to park for a few weeks, I suggest my face.

most 3+ star hotels in dallas are in safe areas, tho most of the nicer hotels are either along US 75 (from Mockingbird up to I-635 aka LBJ), along LBJ from Preston Rd to Midway, along Dallas North Tollway (aka DNT) from LBJ up to Arapaho, then a few at DNT and Plano Parkway.
anything farther north is in Plano or Frisco.

there are just a few along I-35E (aka Stemmons expressway) near Market Center Blvd. and several downtown (tho they prolly charge a daily car valet fee).


check on https://trivago.com or https://hotels.google.com for rates, then book directly w/ the hotel's site to avoid having to pay upfront.

I love the whole Addison area!!! Nice hotels. Great restaurants. Walmart near. Galleria within about 5mins. That's where I always stay
