Ok, again, the table shows 742 Delta variant deaths. First, this is only a very small proportion of actual Delta deaths, presumably the ones where people had special tests to identify the variant.. The delta variant accounts for over 90% of COVID cases in the UK right now, and over 100 people are dying of COVID per day.

Second if you google “COVID UK”, a chart will come up. You’ll see COVID infections. Look at it and click on the tab for deaths. You’ll see that the latest wave of infections, resulting from the delta variant, has corresponded with relatively few deaths, 110 per day instead of 1200 per day. Why? Mainly because people have gotten vaccinated.

If you want to latch at every number that comes along that supports your prejudices and disregard the rest that’s kind of Orwellian. This has nothing to do with politics. Trump and the majority of Republicans believe the vaccinations are safe and effective.

No I don’t believe in forced vaccination. You’re probably better protected than I am, by virtue of having had the disease, even though you haven’t gotten the vaccine. I do believe in encouragement. The vaccine has been a blessing for America. I wish more Americans would avail themselves of that blessing.

It shows huge benefits from the vaccine in Israel.

What % of Israelis who are old or have underlying conditions are vaccinated? 90%? I’m not sure. They do report that 78% of people eligible to take the vaccine have gotten it.

If 100% of Israelis were vaccinated you gentlemen would point with glee to the statistic that 100% of hospitalizations were among the vaccinated.

As for the table, see my response to the Dutchman. Or now that the Delta strain is predominant in the USA too, explain why most of the hospitalized COVID patients are unvaccinated.
