Just spit balling here, but it might have made more sense to withdraw civilians first eh? I mean if you actually purport to understand your oath of office and your duty to the Constitution. The whole point of the Government is to "establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity". If you cannot do the latter by protecting American civilians, what's the point of it even existing?
