Oh it's definitely a Critical Thinking Problem, but it's the Liberals that are shaming people and putting value judgement on other people's decision making. I find they are doing this more than Conservatives are.

No, not at all. It's a risk reward thing. For America as a whole my guess is that the reward is about 1000X greater than the risk. Hundreds of thousands of lives will be saved by the vaccine from death caused by the disease. And hundreds, possibly less, will die as a result of taking the vaccine. Allergic reactions and blood clots will be the culprits in younger people. Some of the oldest, frailest Americans will die from the normal, everyday side effects of the vaccine like fever and fatigue. Still, the odds make this an absolute no brainer.
Are vaccines we've got in the USA effective? You're damn right they are. I don't understand how anyone can contend they're not.

Bullshit, a virus doesn't fly out of your nose or mouth all on its own. They ride on larger molecules that most fabrics will trap at least some of it. Sneeze in your mask and see how far it goes. Not very far.

People reach for the lamest excuses. If it's not about ''my liberty'', it's bullshit like the masks aren't good enough. The dirty people have let the Delta run amok!

Hey royamcr, the virus is spread in aerosols too. There are comfortable, inexpensive KN95 and N95 masks now that provide better protection than other masks.
You and I have been vaccinated, so COVID perhaps now offers less threat to us than the flu. The vaccine is very effective at preventing hospitalization and death, but not as effective at preventing infection. You and I go on wearing masks from time to time to protect our brothers and sisters who haven’t gotten the vaccine, like some of the posters on this board. I know those gentlemen will have my back if there’s an argument about taxes or spending. You don’t but still you try. Kudos, that’s what the New Testament taught us to do.

No Brains appears to be accurate.
Why should "younger people" take a vaccine that may result in their death when COVID fatality rate per infection for 0-17 year is .0001%

Perhaps you were never taught to cover your mouth when you sneeze.. so I understand that you think a mask would help in this regard. Pro tip: wash your hands after you shit.

The "dirty" people. Such a provocateur... I know you think it's humorous, but it's that type of language that is going to result in open conflict. You're mentally getting prepared to treat others harshly... to deprive them first of their liberty, then their property, and finally their lives.
Unfortunately for you, this isn't the 3rd Reich... the "Jews" this time won't just hop into the cattle cars. Most of them are armed...and they understand history well enough to know what awaits them if they comply.

ta - thank you - good sir
My thought is that being vaccinated is an individual medical decision - based not on LSM/DPST nomenklatura edicts from on high - but One's personal medical situation in consultation with One's physician.
That freedom is already Chopped on the block of DPST orthodoxy to obedience of the minions.
i agree with your last paragraph. Well written.

Current studies suggested that the eye is a potential route for SARS-CoV-2 transmission and infection. However, the risk of viral spreading via ocular secretions and tears or contracting an infection via the eye is likely low comparing to other routes of infection such as respiratory tissues.

You're jumping the gun. Given that clinical trials have not been completed for children, and given that the vaccines appear to be less effective in preventing infection (but not necessarily hospitalization or death) for the Delta variant, the data doesn't exist to know whether "younger people" taking the vaccine is a good idea.
If the vaccines are proven safe and effective for children and approved by the FDA for children, then parents should make the decision as to whether their children will be vaccinated. If they'll be around grandparents or other older or high risk unvaccinated people, it could make a lot of sense for them to get the vaccine. Do you think that would be child abuse?

I linked to a paper many months ago that concluded masks, eye protection, and social distancing were all effective in preventing spread of COVID and SARS from patients to health workers. In fact, the masks and eye protection looked to be about equally effective. I think a lot of the eye protection was through face shields, which would probably provide some protection from contracting COVID via the respiratory system, not just through the eyes.
I used to wear an N95 mask AND goggles when I was traveling, on planes and in crowded areas like airports. No need to now. Since I got vaccinated I figure COVID's not any more likely to put me in the hospital than the flu. I still try to wear a mask when I'm around old and fat people who aren't vaccinated.
