What's stupid is lining up for a Vaccine that isn't even FDA approved yet. I haven't had Covid and I probably won't even get Covid. It's better to develop treatments than a Vaccine. Treatments can be monitored vaccines can't.

Why should I take a drug that is not fully tested to save me from a extreme case of the flu that I have a 99.98% chance of surviving? If you had to bet the outcome of that answer for HWP adults < 55yo would your money be on No, I will risk the extreme flu or Yes, I'll take the experimental shot?

I know how I'd bet.

You obviously don't understand. Recipients of the Vaccine don't have Covid or they shouldn't anyway. Once the vaccine in administered there is no way of monitoring it's effectiveness against contracting Covid. Treatments are administered to patients that actually have an active case of Covid the patient is under a Doctors care and the patients progress and response to the treatment can be monitored.

Of course someone can monitor effectiveness. It would require a double blind study, and daily check ins, with the subjects, who get vaccinated. I'd guess that one, or more, of these studies is in progress, but that's a complete guess.
