That's all great in hindsight. Just because it is intelligence doesn't mean they had him pinpointed. Are they to blow up countless numbers of buildings killing possibly 1000s of civilians? It isn't like Bin Laden is easy to capture. It took what 15 years after 9/11 to finally track him down? We weren't at war during this time between 1993 and 2001.
If Bin Laden was standing in the middle of the street and we had eyes on him and assets able to take him out, I'm sure we would have taken the shot. But we know this is far from the case.
As for 9/11, bin Laden wasn't the only "Mastermind" planning this. Sure he was a key figure and financier.
All the missed intelligence, stopping of tracking Bin laden and disregarding FBI reports all falls on Bush.
Question is would Gore ignore it all? I imagine at least Gore would have carried on the Clinton administrations policies of continued tracking.
As far a Marco Rubio, he is whiney little twerp. Trump had it right on him. Little Marco. He also took the first shot at the ACA which has cost Americans 100s of billions of dollars. Want to know why your deductibles are so high, that is Little Marco.
