On MSNBC, they are calling it "peaceful protesting" and simply long past due reparations. Unlike here though, Blacks are in charge in SA, so what is the excuse now?

Bam, amateur hour is an understatement.
Even before the Dutch settlement wars in the mid 1600's, the tribes were fighting between each other. Specifically known is the Bantu tribe immigrants/invaders from Central Africa dislocating the San (Khoisan) over more than a century, which activity continued during the Dutch settlement & and those wars.
The above is from a missionary couple that was there in the late 1970s. They were pulled out cause they couldn't get the locals to stop raiding the neighbors (different tribe).
