Weird. Buffett wants the US govt to revisit tax laws but he's giving supposedly 99% of his money away. I assume not to the govt. Allegedly he's still in "the giving pledge". So tell me again why he wants others to give up THEIR money to the govt?

As a friend of mine said yesterday, I could take all the money I pay the federal government, put it in a barrel, go the top of a building in our city, and pour it out onto the street and it would do more good than my federal taxes. Presumably he'd do this when it's not very windy so the bills wouldn't be blown away.

Buffet agrees with this as far as it applies to him. But not for other people.
