She's like a lot of Bay Area executives I've met, which seem to borrow a lot of Indian culture: She's spent a long career deflecting and striking fear into people she sees as below her and has held herself as beyond reproach. Now she has a job where she can be openly scrutinized and criticized by everyone, so she has no recourse, and the only people left that she can punish are those she needs to keep her lies going.

The compliant demomedia will not ask tough questions. As pointed out with Obama, this gives the elected official of false sense of success and abilities that are not within their toolset. The point of the media demanding *real* answers is to keep a politician at least half way honest.

I wonder if its cultural, having worked with a bunch of Indian contractors. They will not say 'no', even if its not to their detriment. All I hear sometimes is "ja, ja, ja", with no substantive remarks or questions.

How are you comparing Trump? For one thing he went to the Border more than once. Harris and Biden don't have a better administration. They aren't going to address the problems on the Border nor will they address any problem this country may have.
Border=diversion. Bring them in legally and let them work legally and pay taxes. My house (not in Texas) was built by legal Mexican/Americans and they did a great job at a fair price. Roof also replaced by "them" after a hail storm. "Locals" in my area would rather not "sweat".
