Sams Club, Costco, Khuns, Shop and Save are all great. I've found places like Sportsclips to be beneficial as well. They ask you if you want a recipe take it and give them your number or ask for theirs. It's ballsy but 9 times out of 10 it will work. Make sure you make conversation during the time there as well. Build the rapport.

Back on topic...I use to go to a club in leetsdale that had a male review. The male strippers would be done by midnight, and the ladies would be all lathered up by the time they let the guys in.

Best bet is to boldly approach the girl who isn’t the hottest in the group, right in front of the group. Far better response than your first one. Not that it matters but I appreciate your rethinking it and making a solid response.

I don't have any reviews and a whopping three (now 4) posts as I rarely hobby in Pittsburgh. I live here and have spent a few hours, at most, on this site over the last year.

Instead, I hobby when I travel for work.
These places tend to have solid 8s and 9s for $500 per multi-hour dates. You can also find solid 10s for $500 an hour that will leave you in a coma.

Finally, not trying to stir the pot: but the back and forth BS never made sense to me and, other than entertainment value, isn't worth going full in.

Even if you just hobby when you work, post a review in that respective cities forum if one exists. It will help out guys in that area plus guys who also travel.

Hey DG, you used the word "rapey". Rape is a very serious crime. People convicted of it go to jail for years. Maybe it's just me, but I don't consider rape to be even remotely analogous to flirting and wooing the opposite sex in a bar.

And nobody said your opinion is unwanted. In fact, I invited you to contribute constructively to the convo back in post #43. Of course guys can learn from hearing how a woman views the situation! So please tell us, based on your experience, what does it take for a guy to pick you up? What (non-pecuniary) approaches are successful with you, and which ones do you blow off?

I'd suggest going to a karaoke bar. People always seem to have lots of fun there and ladies are more approachable when they are having fun. Heck, get in front of the mic and dedicate your song to a "special lady here you would like to meet ".
Let them all guess; hopefully she'll be flattered when she finds out.
Alternatively, go where there is a live band and a dance floor so you can dance. I think most ladies like to dance.
If you're just looking to hook up, then go to the casino and look for ladies who are all dolled up, alone and carrying a purse.
