Question Question regarding Strabismus

Question. Does Strabismus (cross eyes) bother you gentlemen in an appointment?

Would it make you uncomfortable to decide which eye to focus on? In conversation, connecting, etc. I think she’s being paranoid and self-conscious but you tell me.

Does it bother you to deal with a provider with this disorder?

Asking for friend with the disorder who is very self-conscious about it and trying to get into the industry. She is super sensitive about it and she is gauging your reactions. I keep trying to tell her it’s heart and personality that matters but she’s not listening to me.

All feedback appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks so much.

Attitude and performance are more important.

I totally agree
If she dresses nice and looks decent I don't care. I only want a good visit for both of us. I believe she needs to enjoy too

I’ve known people outside the hobby with this condition. It only gets awkward when there are multiple people in the room, because it can get hard to figure out who that person is talking to. If it’s just the two of you in a room, it’s pretty obvious who they would be addressing . Just my two cents.

Hi , it"s me that she is referring to that has a eye condition , its called Latent Nystagmus , Dr Ginger up here had the incorrect diagnosis . I was born with as I was premature and my lungs and brain had not fully developed being born at six moths . When I was in elementary and junior high I was the girl who ate lunch by myself due to children being cruel and calling me four eyes among other things . I have had multiple surgeries to correct this over my lifetime and its 80 percent corrected . I am not one bit self- conscious about it at all . We are all born with something and no one is perfect . As we become adults we expect children to bully but when someone becomes almost 50 and still doing it that's just SAD .

That would never affect my time with a provider. It would be a non issue. As long as we were comfortable together, a good attitude and personality, then how her eyes were would not bother me at all. Plus I love DATY, so hopefully from that view her eyes are closed or rolled back anyway But whoever this question is about it would never be an issue. It’s how she sees me through her eyes, not whether her eyes are “normal” as they are normal to her.

As you asked for "all feedback " I think it's a Bitch thing to do putting it out there to begin with. All the guys will now be looking at any new provider that comes on the scene wondering if they are the one. Friends try & give friends a hand up not a slap down.

This is bull shit! No it wouldn’t bother me to see a provider with this disorder at all. I’d much rather see a lady with this condition over someone with perfectly normal eyes that makes a not so veiled attempt to cut her down in a public forum! Does this shit ever stop? Talk about your mom’s basement?? Grow the hell up and quit being the mean high school bitch!

I wish I could say I am surprised that Ginger would stoop to this level of childish behavior but anyone that has been around this board for a while knows that this is par for the course. She must be really miserable because she can’t keep friends when she is constantly stabbing them in the back!
