21st century "Lord of the Flies". It's interesting how a few novels keep repeating/ updating themselves for the next generation.

I'll be watching this one. Anybody watching "Debris"?

It kind of disappoints me sometimes. I was a big comic book nerd when I was a kid, and rather than push the old material aside and try to make new stuff, they just gender and race bend the originals. Just feels... lazy.

Sometimes it works, like with Falcon becoming Captain America, that's fine. They're passing a title.

But the new X-Men run, "Children of the Atom", they just made a bunch of gen-z kids with woke bullshit with the same powersets as original X-Men.

The sky's the limit with Mutants. You can literally make anything, and the real story isn't about how cool their powers are, but how much they set them back. But nah, just make a new version of Nightcrawler and call him Daycrawler.

Look like a Mortal Kombat Sonya if you get caught and being used as experimentation.

Binge it. First season is good. Second season OK. But somewhere in the second season the writers made most of the male characters stupid and the female characters the "emotional problem solvers." After third season its horrendous.
