Gaetz forgot to make his Venmo payments private. Investigators didn’t even need a warrant to get a record of his payments.

think about the numbers though. imagine how many different gals Gaetz "sessioned" with, and his story that every one of them was his sugar baby. so Gaetz has 30 sugar babies, lets say. at trial, the prosecutor calls 10 or so real sugar daddies-it's a thing-and asks whether anyone not named Elon Musk could have 30 hot sugar babies at approximately the same time, and whether the pattern of payments looks anything like a sd/sb relatiship. all 10 guys say no way.

then you call the actual gals in question to describe the relationship and when the payments occurred, and it sounds nothing like what the 10 guys explained. basically, they got paid after or before sex, depending on the policies they followed. (some gals require pre-payments.) he's toast, right?

#2: I guess one has to have experience in handling matters associated with "Feds" investigating criminal offenses before one can actually evaluate what an "alleged" undisclosed, adult witness is saying in cooperation with the investigating "Feds" ... and how long the alleged witness is cooperating.
#3: after two years she surfaces to whine about Gaetz, even though the fellow passengers deny she was on board and the manifest will disclose her presence on board and deboarding.

i have not. fed prosecutors usually start as a das prosecuting state cases, and work their way up. since da's do more drug cases than anything else, i never wanted to do the da gig, although it is one of the best ways to get litigation experience right out of law school. big firms wont let you try cases until you've put years in the trenches.

if you think any prosecutor in their right mind is gonna try to call "actual sugar daddies" to court to testify you've been watching too many re-runs of "Matlock" and "Perry Mason".
