But nationality is about where you're a goddamn legal citizen or national, not just about where you were born. The ability to change nationality exists via immigration. The ability to have multiple nationalities exists. Birthright citizenship or nationality based on being physically present in a country when you're born isn't universal.

Wrong. Nationality has multiple meanings and is about more than just the country where you live.
