Impossible - One does not walk into a gunstore and walk out with a FA weapon. Those weapons are strictly under teh control of teh BATFE and NFA Act of 1986 - and take 6-12 months to transfer.

to quibble a bit - GG - teh 'ruger 556" - likely refers to teh Ruger AC 556 - a true Full automatic weapon with a selector switch for semi-auto, 3 shot burst , and full auto fire. Used a great deal in prisons for inmate control. Not available for transfer without a tax stamp and BATFE approval.

Likely thinking or referring to the Ruger mini-14 - the semi-auto version widely sold and used for many applications.

Negative sir, being that it had a pistol brace, I'm inferring that it was a Ruger AR 556 pistol. Apologies for not fully nerding out.

Ruger does make an AR556 and SR 556 - both in .556 caliber - and resembling the AR-15 semi-automatic sporter rifle.

Both are semi-automatic - NOT FA.
it has been a bit since i purchased from Ruger. .
My collection is complete.

I took my bumpstock off my AR. Couldn't find a place to use it. Can't find a "bulletproof vest" that fits my wife's 42DDD titties. Maybe the implants will stop them. Don't want to take that chance. A BPV is cheaper.
