Coronavirus / Covid / Masks?

I've been completely out of the hobby since the pandemic started. Did a search for "mask" and "covid" in all general discussion and co-ed Houston and National forums and found very little information.

What is the latest in the Houston area regarding safety practices? Here are some questions for the eccie community:

1. Do both people wear a mask?
2. No kissing?
3. Can folks find providers who at least say they have been wearing masks during all appointments?
4. If you are a provider, what have you been doing for respiratory safety during appointments?
5. Are there way fewer providers working?
6. Are there way fewer hobbyists playing?

Secondly, as well stated above if you show respect to others rules you will be fine
So enter with a mask on and take your cue from the providers
It’s all over the board just like every where else. Some abiding and some are selfish
Get the vaccine as soon as possible and minimize everyone’s risk
I wasn’t paying much attention to this virus until recently but the facts are it has morphed and no longer effecting 3 in 100 but younger and healthier people and even those who are not being hospitalized are having lingering issues such as loss of taste and reoccurring headaches

5. Yes, there are less providers than prepandemic. They are getting stimulus $$, extra $300 unemployment.
6. Sure there are, but seems to me there is a demand for the hobby. I've seen ads from providers advising they are not seeing new hobbiest.

I have been inactive since March 2020 and will continue to be inactive in the Hobby till morfe people get vaccinated. I am guessing August at the earliest.

I have not been active. Last saw my UTR in February, and went pussy crazy in October and did something that I regretted for 14 days afterwards. The two weeks of waiting to see if I would develop symptoms was not fun. I'm going to wait until I get my shots to be more active. But - I'm going crazy....
