"Search warrants for a subject's personal belongings are not terribly discreet and the recipient of the warrant can talk about it. That could be a legitimate concern before an election but the equation changes after an election, when you no longer need to abstain from overt investigative steps."

Earlier this month, Hunter Biden announced that his taxes are under investigation by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Delaware. A source familiar with that probe said prosecutors refrained from taking overt steps that might have become public in the days leading up to the election because their work involved the son of a candidate.

Giuliani was released from the hospital on Dec. 10 after treatment related to his positive diagnosis of Covid-19. On Dec. 1, the New York Times reported that Giuliani was in talks with Trump about a possible preemptive pardon that would insulate him from federal charges, which Giuliani has since denied.

First, the title to this thread is totally misleading. What really ENRAGED smart people who care about these things wasn't the DOJ's silence about the Hunter Biden investigation. It was how Big Tech and the lamestream media conspired to suppress the story of Hunter's laptop when it broke in October 2020! That was the REAL FUCKING SCANDAL! IT doesn't bode well for anyone who believes in the First Amendment and the free flow of information!

The Delaware repair shop owner who sent a copy of Hunter's laptop to Rudy and the NY Post also showed everyone copies of the FBI subpoenas used to seize the laptop. That proved to anyone paying attention that Hunter was being investigated, even if the DOJ refused to confirm it. But the whole story was hushed up by the LSM because it broke 2 weeks prior to election day! As everyone knows, the LSM is effectively nothing more than the propaganda arm of the DNC!

Polls taken since the election show that ONE OUT OF SIX BIDEN VOTERS WOULD HAVE SWITCHED THEIR VOTES had they been fully informed before Nov. 3 about all the Biden family scandals that were suppressed in Kafka-like fashion by Facebook, Twitter and the LSM.

As for the FBI investigation into Hillary's emails being widely known back in 2016, you need to stop rewriting history of why it happened. Here's the timeline - the existence of her illegal private server and the hidden emails on it became public knowledge in March 2015, thanks to a Romanian hacker named Guccifer. This led to an investigation by the Inspector General of the Intel Community, who referred the matter to the FBI for criminal investigation. That's why everyone in the DC swamp KNEW Comey was investigating the bitch's emails. The FBI couldn't possibly pretend otherwise!

Comey's stupidest blunder (among his many fuckups) was not letting the DOJ explain the decision he announced on July 3, 2016 not to prosecute Hillary. He let Loretta ("Meet Me On the Tarmac") Lynch off the hook but it wasn't his call to make. He thoroughly politicized and corrupted the FBI in ways that we are still struggling to fix. That was also the official reason the asshole was fired by Trump in May 2017. It had nothing to do with going after Flynn (although admittedly that was another big Comey fuckup).
