They already own 70-80% of the commercial real estate in nm thanks to Hunter Biden.
That happened about 2015, coinciding with the explosion in massage Parlors and illicit substances.

I would not be the least bit surprised.

Thats within 5-10%, give or take.
Hunter Biden’s company, Rosemont, bought ought BGK, who owned, and/or controlled 60% at the time. Over the next few years, they teamed up with Korean investors, bought a lot more, then ultimately sold out to the Chinese. Its all been in the papers.

Tell me where I'm wrong here, and I can't see the Journal articles because I'm not an e-subscriber. So, if there is data in those that contradicts, then please forgive.

But from the first and last article, the Chinese hold a 75% stake in at most 2,000,000 square feet of NM commercial space. (The last article specified some of Rosemont's major holdings and those added up to less than 900,000 sq ft.)

Given that Coronado Center is almost 1.3 million square feet all by itself, it is apparent (again, only from the Business Journal and SF New Mexican articles) that Rosemont doesn't own anywhere near 60% of the commercial space in Albuquerque, much less NM. That information would seem to indicate that they don't own, statewide, the equivalent of 60% of the commercial real estate on Menaul Blvd.

I can't see the Journal articles, but the other two don't support what you are saying.

I don't want to be political on ECCIE, so I hope this paragraph is taken as an examination of the media's (including both news media and social media) impact on information. Please read it w/o a political spin as that is how I tried to write it. The election shook up my basic view of information -- more than it was already shaky. So I have been questioning everything that doesn't intuitively make sense to me. All of us can give LOTS of examples of clear misinformation from the last 15 years ("Obama is the Antichrist", "Trump is the Antichrist", "Biden took a $300 million bribe from the Chinese", all the QAnon stuff, "Antifa isn't organized", etc, etc, etc and ad nauseum for years). So I have been questioning sources and trying to do my own research into information that flies around in the ether.

Again, not trying to be political, I'm just questioning a statement that doesn't seem even close to accurate to me. I've been doing that a lot since Nov 3. If 74,000,000 voters believe one thing, and 81,000,000 voters believe something that is pretty different, then we should all be questioning the sources of information that form those beliefs.

Don't take this as a rant -- I'm just explaining why I question a simple statement on a random post on an obscure website, lol.

Ditto DS. I respect everyone to their own opinions, but when you attack others for theirs, that is where I have issues, and there has been a lot of that going around lately. Just my thoughts. I think everyone needs to do their own research, before deciding if something is true or not, or how much truth it is. Anyways, enough of me ranting, how about something lighter, like anyone have any Hobby stories or info to share, that's what I like to see on here. LOL

I didn’t mean to start a political rant, just an interesting chain of business in NM. It requires a lot more info to flesh out the totality of what I posted, that doesn’t belong here, for sure.
BUT, the idea wast to post the links with enough info to at least get someone started in the right direction.
Doubt would be expected, and certainly, welcomed. The trail gets diluted with mergers, aquisition, and management.

Back to hobbying!

....and Diego, I would expect no less questioning by an open mind, bent on truth.
