Sort of... but I'm not sure you get why. It's not because the stock market is making investors rich. It's because the market is a good harbinger of how the economy is likely to perform 3-6 months from now. The market is telling policy makers more stimulus may not be needed.
Not necessarily. Even if people use some of their stimulus money to pay down outstanding bills, that still frees up spending power for future consumption.

Yeah-- its pretty apparent that you've never been truly poor. The rest I won't acknowledge because it requires me to reveal more personal information than I'm comfortable with doing on a SHMB.

It's comical to me how some people are so clueless about the actual economy when it it comes to the stock market.
I could walk in and manipulate your cash flows and manipulate your debt and you are good to go as far as your stock price. It would take me a month.
So many of you clowns are so clueless about how the market works and the effect it has on the overall economy as far as being vibrant.
The stock market does not represent the health of the economy. Get that through your fucking heads.
But, I'm still trying to get $100K so put or shut up and I'll even show you where I work and the degrees. Yeah, that's what I thought. Continue to talk all the shit you want.

In fact, that's an even bigger reason to avoid further stimulus-- those who normally blow it on consumer goods will likely spend it on bills instead-- in order to stay afloat. Which.... defeats the purpose of a stimulus.

Again, if Pelosi had removed language from her bill that favored Democratic politicians and Democratic constituencies and been willing to pass something targeted just towards helping the unemployed and people behind on their rent, the money would be in place to help people who need helping.
Lusty writes like an economist, probably because he is an economist. What he's saying doesn't look controversial to me -- if you distribute enough money to people so they can pay the bills they owe, and not get evicted from their houses or have their electricity off, and then some extra for "future consumption", then that will help them and provide a boost to the economy.

OK, if you'll show me how to manipulate cash flows, not just income, in a way that demonstrably enables me to get one over on the auditors and perpetuate my "Free Markets Church of Tiny" Ponzi scheme for another 5 years, yes I'll pay you $100K.

Show me that you have $100K for me, Tiny and I'll do just that. It's really not that hard. I kind of do it for a living. I'll even explain how I do it. It's all legal though but you pay me for the answer.
I'm sure the fuck not giving advice to a guy on a whore board who goes by the name of Tiny for free. You give me money for that knowledge. I paid to learn it, and people pay me to give it. You give me a $100K and I will tell you exactly how it is done. Time is money.

stfu fry guy! The stock market is one indicator of the economy! Why do you think every news org. reports how well or bad it does daily! Your statement alone confirms youre either a fry guy or a bagger at the local grocery store!
You buy your bus passes daily or weekly?

I'll need to know how to fake bank statements and provide some kind of confirmation of all the benefits members will receive from their donations. In other words, you contribute $1,000 to the Church and you get an all expense paid trip to Thailand, with first class airfare, 5 star hotel, lots of women, booze, etc. I need to show receipts from the hotels, airlines, etc. I can handle falsifying the Statement of Cash Flows all by myself, so you wouldn't add value by showing me how to do that. It's the audit trail I need help with.

You're not going to piss me off. Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.
Making fun of fat midgets is not cool.
