There will be no serious changes when there is no serious evidence of ‘illegal votes’.

No.
States such as Colorado have been doing mail in ballots for years with little to no issue.
A lot of people voted early and by mail this year. Those votes go through a lengthy process to verify the identification of the voter as well as check to make sure they didn’t vote again on Election Day.
It wasn’t the voting system’s fault that the leaders in charge couldn’t properly handle a pandemic. So, it should be no surprise that more people voted via mail in/absentee ballots than risking their health on Election Day.
The voting process won’t be changed due to the lame duck refusing to put his big boy pants on.

No.
There really is no need to change anything now that 45 will soon be out of office, so no more of him whining on Twitter all day. Other government officials are not using social media as obsessively as he did, so no need to change anything.
Besides 45 was still blocking people who pissed him off even after he was told he couldn’t, so I doubt the rules would be enforced since government thinks they’re above all anyways.

It would be better to implement a live action ID verification which is a picture of your face taken right then & there to make sure it matches the face on your ID that you upload into the system as well. If you’re comfortable with the federal government having a database of your face and political opinions, then sure.
However, for me, it’s a big NO.
