AMPs are a good option if you want a quick fix and don't want to go through a more thorough screening process which most Indies require. The con about AMPs is you don't know what you're going to get until you get there. That goes for looks and services. For the most part their rates are still the same. Kinda like the dollar menu at McDonald's. Whatever the reason may be, they don't seem to be affected by inflation. LOL.
Indies come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. They typically charge more but you can tell what they look like in advance as well as see what types of services they provide when looking at their ads in OH2 for example. From that standpoint, there's more certainty in regards to what you're going to get, but there are times they use older pictures of themselves when they were younger or they're edited using filters. Depending on the provider the screening process can be easy to vigorous. You may need to visit a couple of newbie friendly ones that have an easier screening process so that you have references to the one you really want to see that has a more rigid screening process requiring references and what not. That part alone increases the cost. At any rate, you should be having fun along the way.
For myself, I do a mixed bag. There are definitely independents I repeat with as well as AMPs I frequent. For the latter, I typically get the therapists cell number that I enjoyed my time with so in case they leave, I can still keep in contact.
