Weird experience, any insight?

Does anyone have any insight as to what might have transpired with this situation? All I can think of is they are trying to keep a rotation among all the girls and maybe contacting your own favorite clients is a no-no or something. I don’t believe she was pocketing the door fee as I always pay that at the desk afterwards and this was during regular hours.

Since the apocalypse, my go-to spot U-Spa has had a sign on the front door asking for customers to call the house number and someone will open the door. Well, I’ve been coming to this place about once per month for at least 4-5 years. Favorite girls come and go but generally, we have exchanged phone numbers and if I’m not just dropping in, I’ll text the girl and make sure she is available.

So I haven’t gone over to see my current ATF in a few weeks and I get a text asking if I will be coming to see her soon. I get such a message and after moving my schedule around I text her on Sunday morning asking if she is available. We settle on 11:30 am.

I’m there about 5 minutes early and I see her walking up to the door from the parking lot. I begin some light chit-chat but nothing especially chummy. I follow her in and the desk Mama peeks out from the back and asks if I had an appointment and did I call ahead. I let her know that I had made an appointment with the girl. I’m taken to a room and get comfortable but there was 5+ minutes of animated conversation bordering on yelling.

After a few minutes of this, the male manager sticks his head into the door and asks if I had made an appointment with the front desk. I tell him the truth. I made an appointment with her, same as I had done with most of my favorites here.

A few minutes later another girl walks in and tells me that she will be doing my session if I wanted. She was cute and young-ish so I said sure.

Someone's toes got stepped on, either by you or by her. Maybe it wasn't the first time. The Asians can really make a problem out of something when they want to.

Seems to depend on the shop. Have a few frequently visited shops. Two are ok with appointments set directly with the girl but another one the girl insists I call for an appointment. Only thought is they are trying to discourage relationships and/or outside meetings.

I could understand that and I’m probably overthinking the whole thing but isnt setting an appointment with your favorites directly the same as calling the desk asking for her? The desk was getting paid and a regular customer was happy. I would think that would be the best situation for all concerned, especially with business down considerably.

I may just go back to walk-in status and get who I get. All the providers are competent and thorough. This new gal Kim was even attractive and short enough that I was getting body-rubbed by her chest when she was reaching over to oil up my back.

Afterwards I went back to Imperial on Gessner for a more localized massage from Wendy.

I wouldn’t be surprised if management/front desk personnel fires your favorite, typically owners/boss doesn’t want girls giving out their personal numbers, this can be, in their minds or rationale that the girl is attempting to see you for service outside of the shop and keeping the full amount, that being HF and tip. If she gives her number to one guy, she’ll most definitely give it to more, in their way of thinking she’s capable of stealing, that’s bad news for the shop, she’s liable to get some punishment for her action, physical punishment and fired.

I know 2 that have gotten fired for giving out numbers. Some owners think the girl is seeing people on the side and cutting into the shop profits. One shop owner even spread the word to a lot of other places and the girl had a hard time finding another job. Other shops encourage the girls to give out numbers, so it just depends.

By the sound of it, this poor woman’s life will never be the same. Shame! J/k but Why tell the truth when you could just lie? I know when in doubt the truth is always better but in this case a little bending of the truth perhaps would have been in order. Look I thought I called but I must have called another place. I would like to see so and so please. If she’s not available then perhaps I’ll come back another time. Now, you covered for her and showed them she has value right now and by punishing her they would lose your business.

The heated exchange you overheard between bosses and your favorite was probably their attempt to get her side of the story, bad thing is, you and her didn’t have an opportunity to get on the same page, there’s no telling how she responded, then the guy pops in and asks you a direct question concerning appointment. The fact she wasn’t allowed to proceed with the massage is quite telling IMO. Have you reached out to her since then? Asked if she’s okay or what happened?
