If anyone wants to "argue" the point ... I'll produce sufficient case law (from appeals) stating essentially what I posted above. An assault on a police officer is a felony in most states (I suppose some of the LoonaTick run states will start putting officers at risk by new legislation .... but that's pretty much standard in the U.S.

True, it doesn't matter whether there was a gun or not. My point was that the media have no idea whether there was a gun or not and still reported that there was not.


It was the lie I was protesting not whether a gun had to be there to justify the shooting.


The fact that CNN was promoting an agenda rather than reporting the facts and the facts are that no report of a gun or no gun had been made at the time they reported no gun, is what riled me.
