Have not posted for awhile.

To put it very mildly I have not been the best fellow poster on here and would like to make an overall apology for that.The stuff I have posted towards politics and the politicians was ok cause they are fair game but I made things personal and have made ugly statements towards people and gave some a really hard time.Won't do that anymore.

Specifically wyid,oeb,waco,jr the flag,hf,and ellen.

To this thread I agree with Lanon and fred to an extent.Our country is fractured and very polarized.Certainly regarding race but also the virus response or lack thereof and the economy.A top 2 % or so do very well but there are many who suffer with obtaining health and child care.Working poor.

I have stated previously there are forces that are exacerbating this polarization from both the right side and the left side.And it is the same people behind both sides.The sides probably don't realize that.

Over a 100 years ago they went secretly under the name Committee for Foreign Studies.They began to get a little notoriety and morphed into a more palatable Council on Foreign Relations.

There are certain things about our democracy that don't suit their aims just so.

In the early 20th century they orchestrated 3 major Amendments to the Constitution at their behest ;

1.The Direct Election of Senators ; may sound more democratic as previously they were appointed by state legislatures.Under that system these guys certainly bribed the legislatures to get their choice appointed but with the Direct election by the people they can more easily suborn the people thru media and campaign contributions.

2.The Federal Income Tax.We had a small one under Lincoln to finance the Civil War but it was quickly rescinded after the war was over.This tax enables the government to siphon off the peoples wealth thru confiscatory taxes.Certainly some is needed but not to the extent we have today.

3.The creation of the Federal Reserve.This enables them to control our money supply.Promote inflation or deflation and also our exchange rates on dollars.Our currency.

In present day we still enjoy way too much freedom for them and it limits their control somewhat.Therefore they stoke Economic instability and Civil unrest and discord.

I know the Right feel like they need to throw down hard to preserve our freedoms and it may "Seem" like that would be the course but believe me it won't end up that way.

That is why the "Middle" is where it's at.

A week ago I had a private sidebar with one of the individuals I particularly butted heads with on here.What I found is that we had a pretty calm,sane,civil exchange.Afterwards,from my end,I would now consider him something of a friend.We may disagree and may not socialize but we probably have some common ground on many things.

That's all folks ! For now anyway.
