Never never give personal info or pics. They will be out there forever. I have never done that in 35 years in the hobby and it never stopped me from seeing someone. If it does then just move on the the next one. The best personal reference you can give them is treat them right and bring the green

I do ask for pics and real world info if a person has no reference. My safety is number 1. Also some providers aren't always the best about responding to references. Also, if a provider has a sketchy reputation I won't accept them as a reference (just my preference)
I do understand why some people prefer not to send pics but I'd never call someone named because they value their privacy.
(I have called a few good guys cops and later was able to verify them LOL they usually don't mind)
