Default Is there a new national park?

I have visited a lot of the national parks but I have not visited Yo-se-mite. Does anyone know anything about it?

Been 4 times it’s awesome. I always camped in the huts they have but those you have to reserve a year out. From there you can shuttle throughout the park, accessing whichever hike you want to take. Vernal and Nevada falls is my favorite hike. Takes about half the day to get to the top and back. Love Yosemite Falls hike, but it is a dawn to dusk ordeal, not a lot of shade. Half Dome is a great hike, but they do a lottery for the rights to climb the actual domes backside, and it can be accessed from top of Vernal Falls. I’ve never got to do that.
Last I heard because of covid it’s overgrown and a lot more animals in the areas they normally aren’t.
Cell service is spotty, but there are areas to get signal in the village part.
Last time I went there were crazies free climbing El Capitan, man is that some balls!

Stay away from water at the top of falls, people regularly make that mistake, water moves fast and they go over and die.

You will not regret going, it’s beauty is unmatched.

If you have any specific questions I’ll check back in.

Been once.
Not enough time for my stay.
So, plan accordingly to see what Lester says.

I just caught the news late yesterday. Now I know the intent of this thread.

I thought the responses from Lester and you to be unknowingly funny. Glad you finally realized what it was all about.

How our "stable genius" of a POTUS could destroy the pronunciation of "Yosemite" is beyond me. And people make fun of Biden's gaffes? I'll match Biden's gaffes vs. Trump's lies any day of the week.

Of course Trump still thinks the coronavirus will disappear with the hot weather. It's 100 degrees here in Central Texas. What does Trump call "hot"?

The words of that lying narcissistic sociopathic dim witted clown are not worth acknowledging.
So I decided to actually give some useful information.

Sad, isn't it? BTW, if I had been actually seeking info on Yosemite, I would have really appreciated your response. My family spent a Christmas there about 6-7 years ago. It was splendid with all the snow around. We drove in at night and when we awoke the next AM it had snowed and we were staying at their motel thing near the dining hall. The ordinary one, not the fancy one. Had a wonderful time.
