Trump’s campaign is taking on water and he’s running out of trustworthy people to make excuses for him. Yesterday’s coronavirus briefing was the closest thing to him admitting he was wrong on the virus. Simply shuffling campaign personnel around is not going to get America back on the proper path or bolster his re-election bid, especially given that he only cares about one of those things.
Oh, and NJ is in the green portion of the map, thank you very much.

Actually, we WEREN'T wearing them or socially distancing. That's the whole point of the changes that Gov. Abbott made.
We relaxed restrictions in June, people wen't out to bars, and started partying, and the disease took off again.
I have noticed a lot more mask wearing in and around Uptown, West Village, Frisco, and Plano in the last 2-3 weeks. Looks like people got the shit scared out or them and are finally acting more responsibly.
And I have also noticed that new case rates appear to be down just a bit in the last couple of days. It will take another 2 weeks to know for sure. But, here's hoping.

Mismanagement of a pandemic doesn't play well either. A democrat has not won the state of Texas in presidential election since 1976. Biden has a one point lead 45% to 44% in the Quinnipiac University poll. If Biden wins Texas, he won't need Michigan and Wisconsin. Trump is going to be a one term president.

Would Trump have made the change if he were ahead in 12 out of 14 battleground states instead being behind in 12?
If the polls don't matter and he has a silent majority, why make the change?
Trump will be voted out and it will not be close.

I may not be Joe "Finger Bang" Biden because I do recall that just a few short weeks ago, I dunno, let's say the end of May there were a bazillion peaceful (yea right!) protesters - more like rioters, looters, vandals, Socialists, Baristas and what not, mostly in their 20s and 30s - carrying on in throngs and just a few short weeks later (oh say about the incubation period of COVID, let's say) - cases jumped up. Yet noone in the Lame-Assed Mainstream Media even managed to connect the dots. Funny that. Go figure

Thank You 'a' - since the matter is already settled in your own mind - please don't bother yourself with the chore of 'Voting' - when You can stay home in front of the TV and watch the" DPST triumph".
No need to participate - so have a big party of radical Liberals and eschew the Right to Vote - If biden wins it may be the last free election ever in America .
Unless Civil War intervenes.
If Biden and Beto think they are taking my weapons - 'only from MY cold Dead hands"!!

Yup, the Floyd protests - Labor Day to about June 10 - definitely increased cases. Starting about June 10 (from earliest protests onward).
Yet, Gnad's post was in early July (about 3 weeks later) and he was saying it was a low point in Texas cases. He's been declaring victory over Covid and advocating we go back to normal since April. Go figure.
If we had taken his advise, we'd have 300K dead by now.

he won't be able to repeat the oath of office - but - with a radical VP - the DPST's will be ready to impose Socialist autocracy on Amerika!

If Biden were locked into an iron lung and unable to speak, we would have a more able President than Donald Trump. The feeble attempt by the Trump campaign and his handful of faithful supporters to discredit Biden’s health and acuity is not only hypocritical, but actually quite funny. Voters aren’t going to buy it. Just like they’re not buying Trump’s sudden epiphany on masking. In November, the national nightmare of his failed coup will finally be over.

I am not ron white, sir, but perhaps you are talking about Trump’s campaign team. The polls clearly indicate the Trump campaign’s strategy of attacking Biden’s health is a miscalculation, amplified by Trump’s repeated and very public verbal and physical stumbles.
He can’t walk without looking down at his feet, can’t read his own speech from a teleprompter without pausing at the end of every line, sweats like a pig and can’t even pronounce the name of the American city where the George Floyd protests began. But Biden is feeble?
You are right, sir, you can’t fix stupid. Thank you!

That's what you said three weeks ago. Look, that number of deaths out of a pop of 27MM doesn't justify extreme economic and social sanctions.

And two weeks from now you'll be saying wearing them another two weeks until the Nov election. They are being worn consistently here in Houston. The jump in deaths show they are ineffective. If they are so effective, you wearing the mask should be good enough for you.
I want an audit of the summarized numbers, the lab results, the test kits and the autopsy results.
It appears some European countries are now of the down side of the pandemic, if it's even a pandemic anymore.

How do we get out of this shit? Ideas? Why Yes I Do
Speech: “Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more”
By William Shakespeare
(from Henry V, spoken by King Henry)
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'
