Grace is correct again. I had a roommate who was Asian. He was a great student while we were there. I was getting my MBA and he was as well and he always joked that he had no business being there but was only there because his older brother graduated from there. I called bullshit on him and he showed me his undergrad transcripts. He had a 2.3 GPA. He aced the GMAT, but his undergrad GPA would have kept him out if not for his big brother.

You can go in the hard way like I did and earn it, or you can go in the easy way and just find a family member who went to that university and be a legacy kid regardless of your race. Hell, my dog would be accepted to those universities I graduated from just because I donate money to them.

Capitalism didn’t destroy the family, welfare did. Why have a husband who wants clean clothes, fed and fucked when daddy government will send you a check. Of course the kids will have no authority figure and end up illiterate, addicted, in jail or some combination there of but oh well, at least you won’t hear snoring at night. I had no idea what a ‘baby daddy’ was, which is a thing that’d bring shame and embarrassment not all that long ago, until I asked my millennial daughter.

And the fact that at least half of an income goes to paying taxes, it’s no surprise that most can’t get by on a single income.
