Which bars can you still smoke in around here?

Only one I know of is Gators by i29/72nd in the northland. Any others?

This was a bar that John Taffer did a rescue on a few years back. At the time it was a "private" bar, and was still allowed for people to smoke because of a "grandfathered" law.

I don't venture to bars, but you could always call and ask.

Shooters in Olathe, have to be a Member. Should be open now, but one of these days they say it will be no smoking.

I've wondered a little about smoke carrying Covid though. Any info or studies about that out there?

Covid is a molecule. It is airborne. It can "hitch a ride" on smoke particles. Smokers cough more too. Hence more likely to catch this flu around smokers.

I have never been to Gators; so I looked it up and found this comment:

My fiancé and I eat here/ drink/ play darts three times a week and spend about $50 a visit. I was in the bar Friday night, we got our usual food and drinks (we are so regular all the servers know us and what we order). When I got home I had an alert that my account balance was low. I got on my mobile app & GATORS charged
me $1,585.00! when I called the establishment and spoke to Katie, the server I had she acted like it was no big deal and the charge would be dropped off of my account by Saturday. When I checked my account Saturday morning the charge was still there so I called Gators and spoke to the owner Tammy, she also acted like it was nothing and would be fixed. Now I want to make it clear that this UNAUTHORIZED charge emptied my savings account, along with putting my checking account in the high negatives. I just got off the phone with my bank and they now have to contact Gators because they never reversed the charge on my account! Gators has lost my business and all the friends I bring in weekly. I will be sharing this experience. if you go here please pay cash.

the worst part of all of this is every thing that comes out of my account check/ bill wise will bounce because of a careless mistake.
I cannot do a thing and its a big hassle.

Luckily I run an Ionizer in the house to clean the air. This virus is some crazy stuff. I cant even think of pre virus bars that still allowed smoking except a private club someone took me to. And no idea the name of that place now.

You can smoke in the 2 bars in Sugar Creek on the MO side. Decent little dive bars.

...i go to gators almost everyday ive known tammy for 25 years..i can tell you they DO NOT " RIP PEOPLE OFF" SMDH

I guess I'm in the minority. I would steer clear of smokey bars.
