It's an old trick to get an AMP out of a neighborhood. Bust them with a violation of the fire code or some building code so their Certificate of Occupancy can be revoked. The only way to get the C of O back is to fix the infraction which sometimes is something simply like an improperly installed EXIT sign. A lot of times it is easier for the AMP to move out than to fix the issue. Sometimes they re-emerge somewhere, but with the lack of business that has occurred due to COVID 19, it is less likely that they can. Oops. Looks like I responded to the wrong part of the post.
